"Go home to your friends, and tell them how much the Lord has done for you." - Mark 5:19

Luke, Tucker, and Lucy had the courage to stand before the entire camp and share how God had been working in their lives throughout the week. That isn't easy, especially in front of hundreds of their peers.

Their stories were different, but they all pointed to the same truth: God is still changing hearts.

And the witness didn't end when camp did.

A few days after returning home, Tucker made these signs, strapped them to his himself as he was on his skateboard, and rode around with a simple message:

"Jesus loves you!”

That is what Damascus is all about. Not just experiencing Christ for a week, but bringing Him
home.

Thank you, Luke, Tucker, and Lucy, for your honesty, your courage, and your willingness to point others to Jesus.

Real stories. Real faith. Real courage.

There were plenty of unforgettable moments at Damascus.

This was my favorite.

The last three days of camp, our teens gathered before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Sometimes there was silence. Sometimes there was praise and worship. Sometimes there were tears. Sometimes there was joy. Through it all, Jesus was present.

One of the most beautiful parts of the week was watching our teens choose to stay. No one had to convince them to spend more time with Jesus. They simply wanted to be with Him.

Please continue praying for these young people. The adventure of faith did not end when camp ended. May the seeds God planted before the Eucharist continue to grow and bear fruit for years to come.

"Your face, Lord, do I seek." - Psalm 27:8

Our teens are home from an unforgettable week at Damascus Summer Camp!

This year's theme, Credo ("I Believe"), challenged each of us to ask what we truly believe and how that shapes the way we live.

The week was filled with high ropes, giant swings, lake time, games, praise and worship, new friendships, and countless memories. There was no shortage of adventure, laughter, and joy.

Most importantly, our teens encountered Christ through the sacraments, prayer, and an amazing community of young adult missionaries who are striving to live their faith.

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, supported our fundraiser, and kept us in your prayers. Because of your generosity, these teens had the opportunity to experience a week that will bear fruit long after summer is over.

This is just the beginning! Over the next few days, we'll be sharing some of our favorite moments from the week. Stay tuned!

"I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly." - John 10:10

Sometimes, social media makes it look like youth group is all big events and exciting moments. The truth is, youth group is found in the little things:

A conversation after youth group. A prayer request shared in confidents. A teen asking a fantastic question. A volunteer showing up week after week. Friendships forming over time.

Looking through these photos remind me how blessed we are by the teens and families at St. Anthony.

This year’s Whitecaps outing was more than just a baseball game. It was the first Ablaze High School Youth Group event for our newest freshmen as they begin their high school small groups journey.

Between baseball, ballpark food, conversations in the stands, and plenty of laughs, it was a great opportunity to build friendships and start making connections that I hope will last far beyond high school.

A special thank you to Fr. Tony for doing us and spending the evening with our teens.

Welcome to Ablaze, Class of 2030!
