The Florida Museum of Natural History presents Science Surprises. In this program, participants will explore natural phenomena and how they occur by understanding the nature of science. Attendees will become better observers and problem solvers while learning to use their creativity and communication skills.

Join us at the Clearwater Beach Library every 2nd and 4th Tuesday morning this summer between 11:30am to 1pm for STEAM Play Adventures and learn or create something new! This is part of the Clearwater Public Library System's Adventure Begins at Your Library summer reading program. Small children may need help. This week's theme is Outer Space! We'll start things off with a story and songs, and then there will be four stations for kids to rotate through as they like.

From Isaac's Mom: Isaac loves to go to the library, read books, play sports, and work on his HIPPY activities each week! These activities have helped with his fine and gross motor skills, build his confidence, encourage imaginative play, and expose him to new learning concepts. We are excited to see more growth throughout the following sessions and feel confident that Isaac will be ready to excel in school! Florida HIPPY

Therapy dogs love to hear a good story. Join us in the children's area for Read with a Dog on the first and third Thursdays of the month at 3 p.m. at Millhopper Branch.

Children will have fun reading to a therapy dog and feel more confident in reading aloud in a friendly and supportive group setting.
