Congratulations to Andy and James on passing their Yellow Belt (5th Kyu) gradings on Sunday. They performed with confidence and I might even have seen a smile. Thanks to all the effort James and Andy have put in to prepare for the grading. I admit to feeling rather proud to be your Sensei.
Congratulations also to John and Hanna from the Gravesend Ki Aikido Club, and their Sensei, Alan Johnston, on passing their Yellow Belt gradings. It was a pleasure to meet and practice with you.
Best of all the Sensei Aitkinhead, who was the Grading Officer, said how much he had enjoyed the grading and gave some very positive feedback.
Well done to you all.
The courses taught by Sensei Walters, on Saturday, and Sensei Aitkenhead, on Sunday, were really helpful, enjoyable and left me with much to think about. Maybe inspiring our next few classes.
Which all added up to another great weekend at HQ.
