The Kitubod High School successfully held a series of significant milestones in one meaningful occasion.

We proudly conducted the 9th Commencement Exercises for our Senior High School graduates, honoring their hard work, perseverance, and achievements as they step into a new chapter of their lives. Alongside this, we celebrated the Completion Ceremony of our Grade 10 students, recognizing their dedication as they move forward to higher academic pursuits.

The event also featured the Recognition and Moving-Up Ceremony, highlighting the outstanding accomplishments of our learners, as well as the State of the School Address (SOSA), which reflected the school’s progress, achievements, and future directions.

We are deeply honored by the presence of our esteemed guest speakers and supportive barangay officials who joined us in celebrating this remarkable day.

Kitubod High School buzzed with creativity and school spirit during the Senior High School Expo 2026. Students showcase their talents, knowledge, and innovative ideas in a celebration of learning beyond the classroom.

One of the highlights was the Booth Display Contest, where Grade 11 and Grade 12 students presented booths that reflected their skills and creativity. Each group gave their best, making the competition both exciting and inspiring.
More than a contest, the Senior High School Expo celebrated student creativity, teamwork, and dedication.

Congratulations to all the participating Grade 11 and 12 students for making the event a memorable success.

Kitubod High School successfully celebrated Career Day 2026, a meaningful event that inspired our learners to reflect on their dreams and future career paths. The activity provided students with valuable insights and motivation from our invited speakers.

We extend our sincere gratitude to Sir Johnryl Francisco, RN, MPA, MBA, CHA for sharing his inspiring message and experiences that encouraged our learners to pursue their goals with dedication and perseverance.

Our heartfelt appreciation also goes to Sir Eddie B. Vicente from the LGU of Libungan for his powerful keynote message. His words truly encouraged our learners to believe that their situation in life should never limit their aspirations.

This activity was made possible through the efforts of our Career Guidance Coordinator, Sir William Quiap, together with the support of the Senior High School Coordinator, Ma’am Queenife Janelma V. Pagarigan, and the Kitubod High School teachers headed by our School Head, Sir Ramil T. Licayan.

Family Day 2026 | February 27, 2026✨

With the theme “Gugma kag Suporta, Kalampusan ang Bunga,” the Kitubod High School Family Day was a meaningful celebration of love, unity, and shared success. Organized by the dedicated PTA Officers headed by PTA President Abelardo Mapa, under the leadership of our School Head, Ramil T. Licayan, P-I the event brought together parents and students from Purok 1–7, along with our supportive teachers, in one joyful and memorable gathering.

We were truly honored by the presence of our Municipal Mayor, Angel Rose Cuan, CE whose inspiring message uplifted and encouraged everyone. Our sincere thanks as well to our Barangay Chairman, Hon. Lucsim A. Ando, for sharing his heartfelt words of unity and encouragement.

From the touching tribute to parents, fun-filled parlor games, exciting volleyball matches, energetic yells, impressive song-solo and TikTok competitions, to the much-awaited raffle draw and the highlight Popularity Contest proudly represented by each Purok—every activity strengthened the bond among teachers, parents, and students. Indeed, when there is gugma kag suporta, kalampusan gid ang bunga. 💖

Kitubod High School Implements Immediate Safety Measures After Earthquake

Immediately after the earthquake was felt this afternoon, January 28, 2026, Kitubod High School activated its emergency response procedures. Teachers immediately instructed students to Duck, Cover, and Hold during the shaking to protect themselves from possible falling objects.

Once the tremor subsided, teachers calmly guided students to evacuate their classrooms in an orderly manner and proceed to the designated assembly area at the school field. A headcount was conducted to ensure that all students were present and safe.

School administrators continued to closely monitor the situation and advised everyone to remain alert for possible aftershocks while awaiting further instructions from the appropriate authorities.

Kitubod High School proudly celebrates National Reading Month Culmination today, November 28, 2025!

With the theme “Reading is a Bridge to a Future Full of Hope,” the celebration highlights the power of books to inspire dreams, open opportunities, and shape a brighter tomorrow.

From the vibrant book character parade to engaging activities such as storytelling, tongue twisters, plot detectives, and word games, the event brought joy, learning, and creativity to every participant.

This meaningful celebration was headed by Sir Eleazar P. Salonoy, whose dedication made the activity a success.

Kitubod High School officially launched its National Reading Month 2025 celebration on November 11, 2025.

The event marked the start of a month-long series of activities promoting a love for reading and underscoring the importance of literacy. Faculty, students, and school administrators gathered for the kick-off ceremony, which featured an inspirational message from Principal Sir Ramil T. Licayan, student performances, and a comprehension test led by the junior and senior high school language teachers, headed by Sir Eleazar P. Salonoy.

Through this celebration, Kitubod High School reaffirms its commitment to nurturing a culture of reading as a bridge to knowledge, empowerment, and hope.

Kitubod High School proudly participated in the HIV/AIDS Symposium 2025 conducted by RHU Libungan on November 6, 2025.

This symposium aimed to raise awareness, promote prevention, and educate the youth about the realities and impact of HIV/AIDS—empowering students to make informed, responsible choices for their health and well-being.

A heartfelt thanks to our Rural Health Unit (RHU), Barangay Officials, Sangguniang Kabataan (SK), and our Honorable Mayor for their unwavering support and commitment to promoting awareness and education on HIV/AIDS.
