We all love special gestures—flowers, opened doors, a cooked meal, or having our plate brought to us. But it goes much deeper than that.

For me, a good man leads with wisdom, not control. He seeks God’s guidance, supports his family, and stands beside me through difficult seasons—doing his part to keep our boat from sinking.

He corrects me with love, respects me whether I’m present or not, supports my dreams, and understands that although we’re a team, I’m still my own person.

A good man will not try to control me—he leads, loves, listens, and walks beside me.
