Painting sight words, stamping sounds and words, roll and shake addition, war. Some of the activities we have completed since returning back from break.

We made paint rockets today! The kids loved seeing the explosion and the different paint splatters.

Today we worked in partners and created car ramps. They went through the entire process with their partners independently. Imagine, discuss, build, test the creation, change if needed. Then they were able to test a few of the other ramps.

They discovered how weight and size of the car affected its path down the ramp, changing cars and fixing the track if it broke.
This was quite the challenge for our students but ultimately they came out on top. Each ramp was a success.
