The University of Akron now offers you the opportunity to complete a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminology & Criminal Justice entirely online.
We are very excited to make this announcement and invite you to enroll in the fall. This program blends a hands-on appreciation for technical and tactical experience with research and an academic perspective to assist soldier-students in translating your skills (prior and new) into a successful and productive career in criminal justice. We will use this cohort model for the first two years. If you like the idea of completing a 100% online program in a cohort of 25 military police, then you need to act quickly because seating is limited to twenty-five. Criminology & Criminal Justice at UA has been educating in-service practitioners for over 50 years. The faculty features experienced practitioners, veterans, and researchers who understand the demands of public service. The new and innovative curriculum we are offering you today is frequently updated with input from the field. We just hired two dynamic new faculty members. We have built modern crime labs. Like the students we attract, Criminology & Criminal Justice at UA is on the rise.

The University's Military Services Center, American Legion Post 808 and Student Veterans of America is supporting our brothers and sisters in arms that are currently overseas, or will be soon by sending care packages to as many of our service members as possible. We believe that it is important to remember those who are deployed, and we are asking for your help for the Holiday Season.

This Friday, November 8th at 7:00pm the volleyball team hosts Miami for one of their final home games of the season and it is our Hometown Heroes Night! What that entails is all active military, EMT, fire responders, or medical personnel receive 2 FREE tickets to the match with a valid ID!
