Hi! I’m Syed Taqi Abbas from Pakistan 🇵🇰, pursuing a BBA in Global Business at CityUHK 🎓✨

For me, a rewarding aspect of studying here was the opportunity to learn beyond the classroom. Through the College of Business, I joined the SMU Global Immersion Programme in Singapore, experiencing firsthand how innovation, entrepreneurship, and diversity come together in Asia’s leading business hub 🌏🚀

From exploring Singapore Management University’s innovation ecosystem to visiting giants like LinkedIn, Huawei, and FedEx, each experience gave me valuable business exposure. Meanwhile, leading a team to tackle a startup’s talent dilemma challenged me to be critical and collaborative 💡🤝

Most importantly, seeing people from different backgrounds coexisting peacefully proved to me that innovation thrives with diversity, hence, broadening my perspective and open-mindedness.

For me, CityUHK has opened doors to global engagement, shaping the way I learn, lead, and see the world, and I'm pleased to continue this fruitful journey 🌟

🌍✨ Hi Everyone, I’m Abdullah. This summer, I joined the Overseas Internship Scheme (OIS) from CityUHK 🇭🇰🎓 and had the incredible opportunity to take part in the PolyTML Summer Research Internship in Montreal, Canada 🇨🇦🍁

As one of 20 global candidates selected 🌟, I worked on a wheelchair-mounted robotic arm 🦾♿ to support people with disabilities ❤️ Knowing that my work could make a real impact made this experience especially meaningful.

Beyond the research 🔬, I connected with interns from around the world 🌎🤝, learned about different cultures, and built unforgettable friendships ✨ I also made the most of my time in Canada by exploring the local culture, history, and dream destinations 🏙️📸

Grateful for this unforgettable journey through OIS 💙🌏
