Second meeting was a success! We would like to thank our Speaker Robert Barcelona from Merrill Lynch for the career advice and discussion on equity markets. Next week we will be having the first ever Pizza with the Professor event where Dr. Sonia Dalmia will be attending our meeting and discussing topics in Economics and Career advice.

Our next meeting, we will have our esteemed alum, Robert Barcelona, coming to speak about how his Economics degree took him from Grand Valley to Merrill Lynch, and how it has impacted him. We are meeting 6-7pm this Wednesday, in the Devos building room 136E.

The economics club will have a meeting tonight in 107c Devos, aka the University Club, at 6pm. We will be volunteering this Saturday March, 21st at Comprenew in Grand Rapids.
Members should have already sent in their data. If you have not done so already, please try to have this done by the meeting tonight.

The economics club will have a meeting tonight in 107c Devos, aka the University Club, at 6pm. At this meeting we will be making a final choice for the community service event. The economics club will be having a meeting tonight in SCB 2008. We will be going into further discussion of sports economics and community service projects. Hope to see you there!

Good Morning Lakers,

Since GVSU decided to stay open today, Econ club will be having a meeting tonight at 6 p.m. in Devos 107C.
If you are interested in sports economics we will be talking more about our project involving marginal productivity of labor with players and would love your input and so would your resume! This is also a great time to get involved with a little volunteering as we will be deciding on where to volunteer our time.
