In celebration of International Women's Day, we invite you to join the event 'Follow the Sun: Women and Political Participation in Samoa, Malaysia and Morocco' on 8 March 2021 from 6pm-7.30pm.
Follow The Sun brings together women from academic, NGO, political and community spheres to discuss barriers to women’s political participation and identify strategies to overcome these barriers.
This event will be chaired by Associate Professor Sharon A. B**g from the School of Arts and Social Sciences, and contributions from YB Maria Chin Abdullah (Malaysian Member of Parliament for Petaling Jaya constituency), Hannah Reshma Jambunathan (Women's Aid Organisation) and Shereen Ajani (Law Student, Universiti Malaya).

Last Saturday, the Alumni Association conducted an interactive workshop with with the aim of providing personalised advice, guidance and direction for final year SASS students.
We've learned a lot from each other throughout a fruitful few hours, filled with as much fun and games as intense conversations.
