Stanford familia, we've got another big name to share. Stanford Provost Jenny Martinez is joining us at the Summit this September in Long Beach.

Provost Martinez previously served as Dean of Stanford Law School from 2019 to 2023 and now serves as Stanford's chief academic and budgetary officer, working closely with deans and administrators to advance the university's teaching and research mission.

She'll sit down for a conversation with Fred Alvarez '72, JD '75 on her journey and her role at Stanford. She joins keynote speaker Amanda Renteria and a growing lineup of speakers and sessions. Join us September 4-6.

Stanford familia, this one is special.

We are excited to share that Julian Castro '96, Joaquin Castro '96, and Congresswoman Nanette Barragán are joining us for one of our most anticipated sessions – “Decisive Voices: The New Era of Latino Political Power” moderated by Professor Tomás Jiménez.

We are honored to have three leaders who have spent their careers in service of our comunidad share more about their experiences in government and how they believe Latinos will shape the future of this country.

Join us September 4-6 in Long Beach! General Admission tickets and hotel rooms with discounted rates are still available.

Stay tuned to this page for more programming updates over the next week.

SLAA comunidad, Friday night in Long Beach just got a whole lot more exciting.

We are proud to announce that the Welcome Reception for the 2026 Stanford Latino Alumni Summit will be held at the Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) on the evening of Friday, September 4th.

MOLAA is one of the only museums in the United States dedicated exclusively to modern and contemporary Latin American and Latino art. A beautiful, meaningful space to welcome our comunidad to Long Beach and begin a weekend unlike any other. And it's included in your General Admission ticket, no additional purchase needed.

Over the next few weeks we'll be sharing more about our speakers and programming, so keep an eye on your inbox and our socials.

If you have not registered yet, now is the time. And please tag a Stanford Latino alum you want to experience this with.

Stanford familia: who do you want to see in Long Beach? ❤️

We’re less than 90 days away from the 2026 Alumni Summit, and our Comunidad is already showing up! Alumni across generations are registered and making plans to gather this September 4-6.

And today, we’re excited to announce Amanda Renteria ’96, CEO of Code for America, as our summit keynote speaker!

The daughter of former farmworkers from California’s Central Valley, Amanda’s journey has taken her from Stanford to public service, where she became the first Latina Chief of Staff in U.S. Senate history. Now, she’s leading work that uses technology to help government better serve communities.

Her story reflects the spirit of our theme: Rooted in Comunidad We Thrive.

This Labor Day weekend, we’ll come together to reconnect, celebrate our roots, reflect on this moment, and imagine what our Stanford Latino community can build next.

Early bird tickets are sold out 🤩! But fear not, General Admission is still available!

Registration is officially OPEN for the 2026 Stanford Latino Alumni Summit, September 4–6 in Long Beach, California!

This is our first Summit off campus, and we're bringing our comunidad together in the heart of Southern California for three days to reconnect, celebrate our culture, and dig into the conversations that matter most right now.

Our theme: “Rooted in Comunidad We Thrive.”

We started planning this summit with a simple truth: none of us got here alone. This September let's honor that - and decide together what we build next.

Limited early-bird tickets are available now. Register here → https://stanford.io/41XJJkD

And please share this with alumni you want to see in that room. Tag them below!
