Double recommendation today! Episode 78 of has an interview about the very different amounts of dialogue that video game characters of different genders get. If you took The Language of Gaming module or you’re interested in language and gender, or stylistics, this one’s for you! Then there’s an interview about forensic linguistics which touches on lots of the issues we cover in Language and the Law including cultural differences among aboriginal and white Australians, the lack of understanding about the need for an interpreter, and lots more. Enjoy!
