Good day to you all.

Following up on our previous email regarding the upcoming 6th Asia-Pacific Hayashi-ha Sh*toryukai Karate Championship 2025, we have received confirmation from Nagatomo Kaichou to organize and hold the event on the following dates: July 31 – August 3, 2025.

We are currently in ongoing negotiations with the organizing committee regarding the championship venue, hotel, and other accommodations. We will provide you all with further updates and a more detailed event proposal soon.

Please let us know if there are other countries in the Asia Pacific region that are not yet included.

Good morning/afternoon/evening to all of you across different countries.
We hope this email finds you in good health and high spirits.

We, Gabdika Hayashi-ha Sh*toryukai Indonesia, are delighted to announce that we will host the Asia-Pacific Hayashi-ha Sh*toryukai Karate Championship 2025 in Indonesia this year. With the permission and mandate granted by Honbu (Japan Karate-do Hayashi-ha Sh*toryukai), we are honored to organize this significant event.

Below are the preliminary details:

Event Name: Asia-Pacific Hayashi-ha Sh*toryukai Karate Championship 2025 (8th)

Date: Thursday, 31 July 2025 – Sunday, 3 August 2025

Location: West Java, Indonesia (near Jakarta)

Venue: To Be Confirmed


We are currently in the preparation phase and working on a tentative schedule as follows:

Thursday, 31 July 2025: Arrival, registration, press conference.

Friday, 1 August 2025: Seminar (by Japan Karate-do Hayashi-ha Sh*toryukai Instructor)

Saturday, 2 August 2025: Karate Championship/Tournament (hopefully to finish in 1 day)

Sunday, 3 August 2025: Free time/city tour/sightseeing

Kindly share with us the participants/team members from your country, hopefully by the end of February if possible. In addition to that, kindly prepare the photos of your team members who will be participating in this event, wearing official jacket as we'd like to include it in the official booklet of the event.

We warmly welcome your feedback, ideas, or suggestions to make this event a success. Please feel free to share any thoughts or support you can offer.

We look forward to seeing you at this event and bringing together Hayashi-ha Sh*toryukai members from across the Asia-Pacific region. Let’s make this championship a memorable occasion for all!

Dear Hayashi-ha Members,

We regret to inform you of the death of Japan Karatedo Hayashi-ha Sh*toryukai Special Honorary Chairman Kazusada Murakami. He passed away on September 14, 2020, at 00:30 at 77 years of age due to illness.

Chairman Murakami through his excellent problem-solving skills and fairness is credited as one of the original pillars that Japan Karatedo Hayashi-ha Sh*toryukai was built upon. He was a true leader and will be dearly missed.

As per his wishes, a private funeral was held by his family and close relatives.

Please notify all our Shibu Dojo, members, and students of this sad news.

With deep sadness we inform you that Michael Sim, Chief Instructor of Hayashi-ha Sh*to Ryu Kai Singapore, has passed away. We offer our sincere condolences to his family, he was a great person and he will be missed by many of us!

Rest In Peace Michael!

Services will be held as follows:

17th January 2019 (Thursday) 6pm to 19th January 2019 (Saturday).

The funeral will be held on 19th January 2019 (Saturday) at 1.30pm.

The cortège will leave at 2.30pm towards Mandai Crematorium Hall 4 for cremation at 3.30pm.
