When emotions run high after school, our instinct is often to ask questions.
“What happened?”
“Why are you upset?”
But sometimes children need regulation before conversation.
Try this:
🫁 BREATHE
“Let’s take three slow breaths together.”
💚 FEEL
“Put your hand on your heart and notice how you’re feeling.”
💭 THINK
“What thought is making this feel bigger?”
🏃 MOVE
“Let’s walk around the garden or stretch for one minute.”
The goal isn’t perfection.
The goal is helping children move from reaction to response.
Which tool would your child use most today?

Many of us were taught to avoid difficult emotions.
But resilience isn’t built by avoiding feelings. It’s built by learning how to understand and manage them.
The first step is helping children recognise what’s happening inside them.
Awareness creates choice.
That’s why every M.Y.T.E practice starts with identifying the feeling before choosing a tool to regulate it.
💚 What emotion has your child found hardest to express lately?

Consistency is where the magic happens.
Learning the M.Y.T.E tools is just the beginning…
Using them, again and again, is where the transformation truly begins.
Children don’t grow emotionally strong overnight.
They grow through small moments repeated daily:
✨ a calm breath before reacting
✨ a hand on the heart to feel grounded
✨ a tapping routine to release worry
✨ a movement break to lift their mood
Every little practice adds up.
Every repetition strengthens the brain.
Every tool used becomes easier the next time.
Consistency turns tools into habits.
Habits turn into emotional strength.
Emotional strength becomes a superpower they’ll carry for life.
This is why M.Y.T.E is more than a programme, it’s a lifestyle.
A way of thinking.
A way of feeling.
A way of calming, growing, learning, and becoming.
One tool.
One moment.
One day at a time.
Keep practising.
Keep growing.
Keep becoming mighty!
