Scan Design Denmark Scan Design Denmark organize special cultural, social and educational events for students from University of Madison and University of Seattle.

Tomorrow we will meet at the Kombardo bus stop by DGI Byen next to the main Station at 8.30. The bus will leave at 8.45. Don't be late. It will take us to the ferry to Århus, where we will be a little after 12 noon. We will walk to the Cabinn Hotel, to see if we can drop off our backpacks. You will be roomed in double rooms. After that we will walk to the art museum Aros. After that we will go back to the hotel and get our rooms. You take a walk down town or relax.
At 7.30 we have a reservation at Landcafe, Studsgade 6 at 7.30 pm. After that the city is yours.

Breakfast at the hotel is included.
At 9.30 check out and we walk from the hotel to Den Gamle By where we will get a special guided tour by a history student that works for the museum.

Lunch on your own in the city.

We will meet at the Kombardo bus stop at 3.30 pm. We will be back in Copenhagen at 7.10 pm.

Hi all Scan Designers,
Don't forget our Thanksgiving Dinner this Thursday from 6-10 pm at Admiral Gjeddes Gaard, Store Kannike Stræde 10A, 1169 Copenhagen. It is at a historical meeting place from 1738. There will be turkey etc, and you are welcome to contribute with tasters for a start or dessert. We will be 30 all in all.
We will have beverages and snacks. I just send a mail to everybody on my list.

Great fishing trip coming up tomorrow. You can still make it. No experience needed. If you haven't tried sea angling - this is your chance. Gear is included. All you need to bring is a lunch pack. I even have warm clothes for you. It will be a fantastic day at sea. Send me a mail and you are on ([email protected]).

It's looking a bit windy and rainy for the fishing trip on Saturday. Do NOT go out and buy outdoor clothing. I just packed two large backs with jackets, hats, gloves etc. Bring bags for your catch. There's a lot of fish out there now. Sign up by email to Bo. If you signed up you will get an email with more details tomorrow evening.

Sat Oct 26. Rosenborg Castle. Meet at 2 pm in front of the Castle.
Sat Nov 16. Fishing trip. 8.00 am in Kalkbrænderihavnen. Bring lunch pack and bags for your fish to bring home. We will be back at 3.00 pm
Thur Nov 28. Thanksgiving at 6.00 – 10.00 pm at Admiral Gjeddes Gård, Copenhagen.
Sat Nov 30. Frederiksborg Castle. Be at Hillerød train station at 2.00 pm
Sat Dec 7 – Sun Dec 8. X-mas trip to Århus. Be at Frue Plads at 9.00 am. You will be back the day after around 7.00 pm

Alumni and outgoing students are welcome to participate on the fishing trip and Thanksgiving. Remember to sign up by mail.
