"Bridging Bytes: Strengthening Team Synergy in IT"

Three-day workshop hosted by the Digital Innovation Center, this event brought together IT professionals from diverse backgrounds to enhance teamwork and collaboration through innovative strategies and cutting-edge technology for the University.

Dear UPLB users,

We will conduct a maximum bandwidth utilization rate test today at 1PM. The test will take 15 to 30 minutes. The result of the test shall be used as a basis for additional bandwidth. During this test, some users may experience disconnections as we temporarily disable some of our Internet Service Providers. Thank you.

We have some important updates regarding our network policies. To optimize our network performance and ensure smooth operations for all our users, we will be implementing temporary restrictions on certain streaming platforms and encrypted instant messaging services during specific hours of the day.

Blocked Streaming Sites: Netflix, Disney+, Twitch, Hulu, HBO, Amazon Prime Video
Blocked Instant Messaging Application: Telegram
Blocked Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM

We've noticed increased network utilization during these hours, impacting the experience for everyone. By temporarily restricting access to these streaming services, we aim to alleviate congestion and maintain a high-quality internet experience for all users.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to improve our network infrastructure. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. Thank you for your cooperation!

We would like to inform you all that the Digital Innovation Center office (UPLB-DIC) will be operating on a half-day schedule on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, in observance of the Lenten season.

We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation regarding any pending inquiries or tasks. All operations and office transactions will resume on April 1, 2024. For inquiries, you may reach us through our official communication channels.
