We are proud of our Debate Club members who participated in the 2026 Metropolitan Junior Schools and Primary Debate and Public Speaking Tournament held at St Paul’s University, Limuru on 7th February 2026.

The event was a qualifier for the National Championship in March, and we are delighted that some of our learners have advanced to Nationals!

📚✨ What a joy it was to see all our learners and staff embrace the spirit of Book Week! The week ended on such a high, with everyone dressed in character, bringing stories to life and showing their love of reading.
Every character was outstanding, and while we could only share a few here, each and every learner and staff member added to the magic of the celebration ✨

📚✨ Book Week at Thika Road Academy – Unlocking Worlds Through Reading! ✨📚

This week, reading has spilled out of classrooms and the library into every corner of our school! From the youngest learners to our dedicated staff, everyone is pausing to enjoy a good book, showing learners that stories can be found and shared everywhere.

On Day 2, our learners took part in a thrilling Word Scavenger Hunt, searching high and low across the school. Each word discovered wasn’t just part of a puzzle, but a key to new ideas, adventures, and possibilities.

Our theme, “Unlocking Worlds Through Reading,” reminds us that every page opened takes us somewhere new, sparking imagination, building curiosity and life long learning.

🎨 Art Club Highlights! 🎨

Last term, our young artists explored scenery painting to boost observation, imagination, and technique, producing expressive works of sunsets, mountains, and seascapes with refined brushwork and color blending.

They also ventured into Epoxy Resin Art, crafting key holders and bookmarks while learning safe handling of modern materials. Together, they created a stunning custom wall clock, now proudly displayed in the art room.
