This is about students learning to give back to society expecting nothing in return. What began with 8 borrowed sewing machines and a dozen 9-11 year olds in 2010, continues to bless children both locally and globally! Through grants and donations, we sew dresses, shorts and teddy bears that are taken with various benevolence organizations and distributed to orphans, hospitalized children and thos
e less fortunate than the children (who come primarily from poverty themselves) who create them. They are being taught a valuable life skill while learning the meaning of giving back.
