A little late post! I am excited about my recent HECA Windy City College Tour to schools in October!
What I love most about my work is the continuous learning and the opportunity to work with extraordinary students! My profession allows me to visit colleges and universities to see if they can be an excellent fit for my students.
I was recently fortunate to attend the week-long HECA (Higher Education Consultants of North America) College tour in Greater Chicago. It was an incredible experience where I had the opportunity to:
•Interact with fellow counselors and learn from their expertise
•Gain insights into the unique offerings and programs of various colleges in the Chicago area
This experience reaffirmed my belief that my students should not be forced to fit into a college. Instead, the college should align with their learning needs and aspirations. I am committed to helping my students find the right college environment where they can thrive and achieve their full potential.
