বাসায় বসে IELTS 7.00 পেতে আপনি যা করতে পারেন

আমার IELTS স্কোর ছিল ৭.০০। আহামরি কিছু না। কিন্তু যারা এখন প্রস্তুতি নিচ্ছেন এই পোস্টটা তাদের কাজে আসবে ভেবে দেয়া। কারণ কী পড়ব, কীভাবে পড়ব, কোন পার্টের জন্য কোন চ্যানেল বা কোন অ্যাপ কার্যকরি ইত্যাদি ঘাটতে ঘাটতেই অনেক সময় নষ্ট হয়।
উল্লেখ্য, আমি বাংলা মিডিয়ামের শিক্ষার্থী, কোন কোচিংয়ে ভর্তি হইনি এবং মোটামুটি আত্মবিশ্বাস থাকলে কোচিংয়ে ভর্তি হবার করার প্রয়োজন আছে বলেও আমার মনে হয় না।
আর একটা বিষয়, ব্রিটিশ কাউন্সিলে পরীক্ষা দিব না আইডিপিতে- এই অনিশ্চয়তায় যারা আছেন তারা চোখটা বন্ধ করে গিয়ে সুবিধা মতো যে কোন এক জায়গায় রেজিট্রেশন করে ফেলুন (আমি ব্রিটিশ কাউন্সিলে দিয়েছিলাম)।এখানে দিলে নাম্বার বেশি আসবে ওখানে দিলে কম এ জাতীয় চিন্তা ভাবনা ভিত্তিহীন।
এবার আসি কাজের কথায়।
1. Cambridge series এর ৭-১৪ কিনে নিন।
২. ইউটিউবে আইএলসের জন্য অনেক চ্যানেল আছে। আমার কাছে যেগুলো সেরা মনে হয়েছে: Liz IELTS, Emma IELTS, Jay IELTS (এর ভিডিওগুলো অনেক লম্বা; এই একটাই সমস্যা।)
Liz এর সবগুলো ভিডিও দেখবেন এবং প্রয়োজন মনে করলে খাতা কলম নিয়ে বসে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পয়েন্ট নোট করে নিবেন।
৩. Writing এর জন্য দেখবেন IELTS Up (এটাই যথেষ্ট )।
৪. এছাড়াও ইউটিউবে এই চ্যানেলগুলো দেখবেন: Papa English, ETJ English, Anna English, Let's Talk, Ellen Show
৫. Speaking এর জন্য প্লে স্টোর থেকে Opentalk অ্যাপটা নামিয়ে নিন। এই অ্যাপের মাধ্যমে আপনি পৃথিবীর বিভিন্ন দেশের মানুষের সাথে কথা বলতে পারবেন। বলা বাহুল্য, আপনাকে ইংরেজিতেই কথা বলতে হবে। সুতরাং, যারা স্পিকিংয়ের জন্য পার্টনার খোঁজ করে এখানে সেখানে পোস্ট বা কমেন্ট করছেন তারা খোঁজা বাদ দিয়ে অ্যাপ ডাউনলোড করুন।
৬. ielts-mentor.com এই ওয়েবসাইটটা আমার খুব কাজে এসেছিল। বিশেষ করে স্পিকিং এর জন্য। কারণ, ইংরেজি বলা নয়, উদ্ভট টপিকগুলোতে কোন ঘোড়ার ডিম বলব এটা আমি খুঁজে পেতাম না। মানে Run out of idea যাকে বলে। এখানে মডেল অ্যানসার দেয়া আছে। প্রতিদিন ১০-১৫টা পড়তে পারলে খুব কাজে আসবে।
৭. যে কদিন প্রস্তুতি নিচ্ছেন সে কদিন বাসায় The Daily Star পত্রিকাটা রাখুন।
৮. ইংরেজি গান শুনুন, মুভি দেখুন।
৯. নিজেকে প্রস্তুত মনে করলে Mentors-এ গিয়ে ১০টা মকের জন্য রেজিস্ট্রেশন করুন। মকে যা পাবেন ফাইনালে কম করে হলেও তার চেয়ে ০.৫ বেশি আসবে।

আমার সোর্স এগুলোই ছিল। দুমাসের প্রস্তুতি যথেষ্ট। শুভকামনা।
