44 kleine Unterwasser-Abenteurerinnen und -Abenteurer – und ganz viele grosse Augen! 🐙🤿

Heute durften beim Basler Ferienpass Kindertauchen ganze 44 Kinder mit Spiel, Spass und einer ordentlichen Portion Blubberblasen das Gerätetauchen kennenlernen. Organisiert wurde der Anlass von CMAS Swiss Diving DRS - Tauchschule Octobasel mit tatkräftiger Unterstützung der CMAS Swiss Diving ROM!

Es wurde gelacht, gestaunt, ausprobiert – und vielleicht hat das eine oder andere Kind heute entdeckt, dass es sich unter Wasser fast wie ein Fisch fühlt. Nur mit etwas mehr Ausrüstung. Und weniger Schuppen. 😄

Ein riesiges Dankeschön geht an alle Helferinnen und Helfer, die mit Geduld, Herzblut und viel guter Laune diesen Tag möglich gemacht haben. Ohne euch wäre aus dem Tauchabenteuer höchstens ein sehr nasses Chaos geworden.

Herzlichen Dank auch an unsere Sponsoren ShipShop und Chocolat Favarger für die wertvolle Unterstützung. Tauchen macht glücklich – Schokolade übrigens auch. Eine ziemlich perfekte Kombination! 🍫🤿

Wir freuen uns riesig, dass so viele Kinder den ersten Schritt in die faszinierende Welt unter Wasser gewagt haben. Vielleicht sehen wir einige von euch ja bald wieder – mit Maske, Flossen und ganz viel Begeisterung.

Früh gestartet, um dem Andrang am Walensee zuvorzukommen: Sidonia Ackermann & Michael Mutter absolvierten erfolgreich die Praxis bei besten Bedingungen. Danach ging’s nach Niederurnen für die Theorie. 🎓
👏 Herzliche Gratulation an Michael zum I2-Brevet! Sidonia folgt bald.

📍 Assemblée Générale – CMAS Swiss Diving ROM

La CMAS Swiss Diving – Région ROM a tenu son Assemblée Générale le 17 janvier 2026 à Grangeneuve (FR), réunissant 98 instructeurs et instructrices.

Nous avons accueilli Nathalie Menétrey, hydrobiologiste et plongeuse, pour un éclairage sur les espèces envahissantes et la préservation de la faune et flore subaquatiques.
Guido Benedini (Watch Angels), Sponsor Gold, a présenté la montre « Bühlmann Decompression 02 », hommage à Albert A. Bühlmann et à son algorithme de décompression.

Die CMAS Swiss Diving – Region ROM hielt ihre Generalversammlung am 17. Januar 2026 in Grangeneuve (FR) mit 98 Instruktorinnen und Instruktoren ab.

Nathalie Menétrey, Hydrobiologin und Taucherin, sprach über invasive Arten und den Schutz der Unterwasserfauna und -flora.
Guido Benedini (Watch Angels), Gold-Sponsor, präsentierte die Uhr „Bühlmann Decompression 02“ zu Ehren von Albert A. Bühlmann.

I2-Seemannschaft auf der Kon-Tiki ⚓🤿
Das Modul Seemannschaft der I2-Ausbildung fand auf der traditionsreichen Kon-Tiki statt. Am Steg in Luzern wurden Material verstaut und Kaffee gereicht, bevor Kapitän Ralph und Matrose Stephan die Gruppe begrüssten.
Unter der Aufsicht von I3-Experte René Röösli standen Bordhandling (Sicherheitsmanagement), Kommunikation an Bord und die Vorbereitung von zwei Tauchgängen im Fokus: Wispelen (Steilwand) und Untermatt (gestufte Felswelten mit Baumstämmen, Findlingen und Muschelteppichen).
Fondue an Deck sowie Apéro, Logbuch und Gespräche auf der Heimfahrt rundeten den Ausbildungstag ab.

Le module de matelotage I2 s’est déroulé à bord du Kon-Tiki. À Lucerne, matériel et café précédaient l’accueil par le capitaine Ralph et le matelot Stephan.
Sous la supervision de l’expert I3 René Röösli, le travail portait sur les manœuvres à bord, la sécurité, la communication et la préparation de deux plongées : Wispelen et Untermatt.
Fondue sur le pont, puis apéro, carnet de plongée et échanges lors du retour.

Il modulo di marineria I2 si è svolto a bordo del Kon-Tiki. A Lucerna, attrezzatura, caffè e accoglienza da parte del capitano Ralph e del marinaio Stephan.
Con la supervisione dell’esperto I3 René Röösli, si è lavorato su gestione a bordo, sicurezza, comunicazione e preparazione di due immersioni: Wispelen e Untermatt.
Fondue sul ponte e, al rientro, aperitivo, logbook e confronto.

I2 Training on the Kon-Tiki ⚓🤿
The I2 seamanship module took place aboard the Kon-Tiki. In Lucerne, gear was stowed, coffee served, and the group welcomed by Captain Ralph and deckhand Stephan.
Under the supervision of I3 expert René Röösli, the focus was on on-board handling, safety management, communication, and preparing two dives: Wispelen and Untermatt.
A fondue on deck and an apéro on the way back concluded the day.
