Unconditional love. We hear this phrase but what exactly does it mean? To love without conditions or restrictions? To be there for someone regardless of what the other person does or doesn’t do? To have someone’s back, no matter what?

Well, unconditional love is an overpowering theme in the life of Jesus, culminating with the sacrificing of His life for others.

As we reflect on this ultimate act of service by one of the greatest Social Workers of all time, may we better understand what it means to love unconditionally.
