Prepositions can drive you up the wall!!!🤯🙄😅 Ever wonder why we say 'in a car' but 'on a bus'? Well, it's to do with how big the vehicle's platform/base is. So, if it's small, like a car's, then it's 'in' and if it's bigger then it's 'on'. I must admit, I find this 'rule' quite vague/confusing. However, during a lesson on prepositions I asked if anyone knew the reason for the aforementioned rule and one of my lovely students gave the following reasoning which I have since adopted😊 She said "Basically, if you can walk in a vehicle, you use 'on' and if you can't, 'in'" Have a blessed week beautiful people😇

Right! Apologies everyone for my extended silence...I'm pretty sure you all know how life can be sometimes😏 Soooo, to make it up to you, I'm going to give the FIRST CORRECT answer to a grammar-related question one of my wonderful students put to me, a FREE 30-minute lesson where you can brush up your English conversation skills or ask me about (almost😄) any question pertaining to the English language!😎
All you have to do is choose the correct verb and justify your answer. Only one attempt is permitted per person and try not to consult 'Uncle Google' to get the answer😁.
