Yesterday was the last LIFE class of the semester! We broke into stations and students learned various small things such as table etiquette, making a professional phone call, how to write a check, ironing, and sewing a button. We can’t wait for next year! 🌪

Thank you to Mr. Kendall, Mr. Milnes, Mr. Rush, and Mr. Bronk from Pike County EMS for coming to speak to LIFE Class today! Students learned the basics of calling 911, keeping themselves and loved ones safe in an emergency, and first aid techniques. Students also received a tour of the ambulance. 🚑🌪

LIFE students prepared meals today! Students were required to look up recipes, make grocery lists, and prepare the food. 🌪👨🏻‍🍳

Thank you to Mr. Bryon Cawthon who came to speak to our LiFE class today about basic car maintenance! He demonstrated how to change a tire, check the oil, check fluids, change windshield wipers, etc. 🌪🚗

Future Blazers!

GP seniors Emily Dunham, Hayden Evans, Jak Freeman, Aaron Miller, Marina Orr, Dalton Shoemaker, and Cara Taylor registered for their Fall classes today at John Wood Community College!

Their intended majors range from Computer-Aided Design, Diesel Technology, Nursing, HVAC, Law Enforcement, Psychology, and Environmental Policy!
