The International Competitive Programming & Multimedia Competition (International C-PROM) is an annual event organized by the Department of Computer Science, UiTM Perlis. It provides a platform for local and international students from universities and institutions of higher learning to showcase their creativity and technical skills in programming and multimedia. Since its start in 2011, C-PROM has evolved from a campus-level event into a globally recognized competition, welcoming participants from countries like Brunei, Thailand, and Indonesia.
Despite challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic, the competition successfully transitioned to a virtual format in 2021. By 2023, it reached a record number of participants with a hybrid model and enhanced global outreach. Now in its 14th year, International C-PROM 2025 continues to champion innovation and collaboration through an engaging mix of on-site and online activities.
