Wow!

Thank you to our Artist Teresa who has been working with our pupils over the last year, discussing all things ‘Climate Change’.

We are really enjoying getting to know the children who will be joining are nursery and reception classes in September at our "Meet the Teacher" sessions. It is great to see so many of the children enjoying all of the activities set out for them. We still have a few spaces available for September if you are looking for a nursery place for a 3 or 4 year old and would love to see some more new faces! If your child isn't quite old enough yet, you can put their name on our waiting list. https://forms.office.com/r/eYXe4wtFnN

At Ash Croft we celebrate the wide diversity of cultures and languages that make up our school family. Our "Language of the Month" gives us the opportunity to learn a few simple words and phrases that are important to our friends and help us to welcome those who are new to our school. This month Bengali is our language of the month.

Yesterday some of our nursery and reception children were interviewed on BBC Radio Derby about their amazing outdoor learning space. If you'd like to hear what they had to say you can find it on the BBC Sounds app or website. They feature 42 minutes and 1 hour 42 minutes (approx) into the programme.

Have your say with Ian Skye on the day's top stories. Plus celebrities and great music.
