“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here I am. Send me!’” Isaiah 6:8

Week one of mission in Alaska has been filled with prayer, service, laughter, and countless reminders of the Lord’s faithfulness and providing heart. It’s been such a gift to encounter Christ in the people we’ve met.

This week we had the privilege of serving alongside the Servidoras at the Oratory of the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Anchorage. Each day was centered on our Lord through daily prayer and Mass, and we had the joy of spending time with the children through games and activities inspired by the life of St. John Bosco.

Thank You, Jesus, for the opportunity to serve and to love as You love. 🏔️🤍

Joy of the Lord 🤝🏻🤝🏻🤝🏻 October Service Day!!!

What a GIFT it is to belly laugh, live freely, work hard, and give of oneself! Whether it’s rain or shine, a big or small volunteer group, or even if we see the finished project or not, the joy remains. 🎉🎉🎉

“‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?

When did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you?

When did we see you ill or in prison, and visit you?’

And the king will say to them in reply,

‘Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.’”

-Matthew 25:37-40

“You did it for me”

This Lent, how are you serving your neighbor? How are you serving Christ?
