We are proud to have participated in Meetings Africa 2025 under the theme "Africa's Success Built on Quality Connections" as an International Hosted Buyer from February 24th to 26th at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa!

Our key mission was "To identify strategic partners for our upcoming Research Summit 2025." 🚀

Represented by our CEO, Ms Nilla Muyembe, Laria Consultancy had the privilege of introducing our work to the MICE industry and gaining valuable insights through the International Hosted Buyer Ticket. Ms Nilla Muyembe engaged with over 26 distinguished organizations, including the Johannesburg Convention Bureau, Western Cape Convention Bureau, City of Tshwane and Leading DMCs, hotels, and tourism stakeholders

This was a significant milestone for Laria! We previously attended Meetings Africa 2023 and 2024 as visitors, but this year was a game-changer. As an International Hosted Buyer, we scheduled impactful marketing engagements, marking a transformational shift in our corporate approach.

Laria began in 2020 as a consultancy helping Zambian postgraduate students with research and data analysis, founded by a visionary leader committed to bridging the gap between academic research and practical application. It started as a home business but quickly expanded, earning a reputation for its rigorous, evidence-based approach and creating employment opportunities for graduates.

Laria has later transitioned into corporate research, partnering with businesses to provide data-driven insights. Key achievements include participating in the first ever Lusaka Business Expo organised by Women, collaborating on a project to improve water efficiency and crop quality for farmers with Netagrow Technologies and participating in the PLR Local Evaluation and Evidence Support Effort activity. Laria Consultancy partners with African Summit on Entrepreneurship and Innovation - Asenti and .

Today, Laria operates under two branches: Research Academy for academic services and Laria Consultancy and Research Solutions for corporate research.
