Combatives and self defence skills will be mainly carried out on a 'bob' punch dummy, pads, and on a training partner. I am fully DBS checked and insured, I am of a very calm, patient, and respectful nature. I instruct in a
fun and friendly manner but be warned that adult classes may contain some bad language! Fitness and strength training can be taught as an actual physical training session or as a demonstrative training session according to the individuals preference. Small groups training is the very best way to learn and is ideal for a group of friends or couples to learn together, and for more timid people that feel anxiety around strangers. Self protection training is essential to living as safely as possible in a world that is becoming ever more dangerous so to train these life skills could save your life or the life of a loved one. It is better to have these skills and never use them than to need these skills and not have them! The combatives skills are simple to learn, they are principle and concept based so there are no complicated fine motor skills or techniques to learn, and they are based on the natural human response to danger therefore providing you with the only realistic methods available to you in which to counter real life threats.
