Regret is one of the emotions that gets a lot of hate.. People want to live and die without regrets!
But, is life really that linear? Are things always black and white?

You’re allowed to make mistakes, learn from them and want to make different choices in life.

Regretting something just means you’ve grown enough as a person to look back at your life and recognise a better way of reacting!

Go on, allow yourself to regret. Its one of the many, many emotions we are capable of!

Foodie Fridays!

Long Pepper

Also known as Pippali
I get super excited about this Spice/herb It’s gorgeous in my eyes and it’s fragrance just starts my inner Agni’s up

Yep it’s the last ingredient in my mortar & pestle for my chai and it’s a little hottie which is great for this cold season and Viruses going around

Pippali is Sweet yet hot light sharp & oily

With these qualities it’s a great gentle detox ( ama burning ) while nourishment to all organs ( nourishes all Dhatus )

Keeping those lungs open and working the circulation going warming the blood up great for anaemia , Cough , asthma , pleurisy, emphysema & hiccough

It heats my chai up making my feel all warm and ready for the day ! You know I noticed a lot of people with the flu or sneezing and coughing…. This Chai does wonders

“ Chai Fixes Everything “

If you mix a little honey with Pippali , Pepper corn & Ginger this will help a bad cough ( Trikatu & honey)

Thinking Thursday

When eating wholesome foods that are grown in season locally we function smoothly and in harmony with Mother Nature feeding our Atma ( soul ) win true love

When we buy packet foods quick fixes with processed ingredients this causes our mind and body to create diseases and we let ourselves down causing depression or unkind thoughts

Any form of pain experience by the physical body or mind is known as Disease , doshas out of balance

A lot of pain these modern days in the gut area

To Understand Disease it is always advised that one should clearly know the definition of health

When our Mind is positive , clear , happy & Manifesting and when our Agni ( stomach) is digesting properly and proper elimination is taking place
Everything in the body works in harmony , Doshas in balance

See it all starts in the gut Well and also the mind has to initially make a conscious decision of choosing the correct food for our body type then if we have made that decision see if we’re uncomfortable in the gut we think negative and talk ourselves out of manifestation and it goes on This is Disease in the making

Some diseases can be also caused through Environmental situations

Hoping this will motivate you to start to introduce some yummy natural foods into your body and see what a difference it makes and start sharing why you feel well
Today

Which one will you choose ?

It’s all about seasonal self-care!

❄️Winter is dominated by Kapha Dosha.

🍀 Kapha is Wet, Cold, Heavy and Slow.

✨ Opposite qualities balance it - Dry, Warm and Light.

Take care of your Kapha, staying active is prescribed for the season!

Black pepper is one of the herbs that help balance Kapha Dosha.

🔥It is hot, pungent, sharp and light.

🔥 Helpful in unblocking channels.

🔥Stimulates Agni and cures manda agni.

Not to mention, makes everything taste better :)

Teaching Tuesday

The Mind

Even though the soul is the director of life guidance towards true home
It is the mind that is responsible for making choices which can or sometimes cannot conducive to our physical health or even adding to our mental wellbeing

If you are aware and are living with complete conscious with the universe and nature you are living life too its fullest

Sometimes this connection can be disturbed the reasons lie in the quality of the mind

Sattva is a desirable state to head towards its mind is clear conscious and can manifest and bring pure energy and light , Sattva give us the desire to know to look deeper create and think & imagine

Rajas is great at organising active and action takes place Rajas qualities are to build what is just been manifested and maintain what has just been created it’s well organised and dosnt like to be late
Ego too

Tamas is a dark dull mode predominantly and we will need Tamas when we what things to come to an end Tamas is destructive and completion

Our souls nature is closer to Sattva naturally Peacefully creative

Yet we can also alter its qualities through the food and environment we are in , once we lose connection to nature and our body we loss connection to source, this leads the mind to endeavour harmful choices spiralling away from health and happiness

What we eat and what we do play a powerful role in who we are in a being state

Namaste
