School Nurses Day was earlier this week, but we appreciate them EVERY DAY! 🥰

This week we celebrated the incredible staff who make our school such a special place every single day. 🍎✨

From laughs in the lounge to sweet treats and well-deserved relaxation, our teachers and staff felt the love all week long during Teacher Appreciation Week!

We love being able to share our mission with these students, encouraging them to explore their interests while making a difference in our community. This special event, held at Axtell Park School, brought the community together to celebrate 30 years of Joe Foss with student stories, poetry, art, music, and more. We’re grateful to be part of a partnership that invests in students and their futures!

Our students had an amazing time, laughing at the talking birds 🦜, amazed by the bears 🐻, and measuring their wingspans 🦅. Feeding the goats was definitely a favorite as well! 🐐

Big news and even bigger pride for our school community! 🎉

We are excited to celebrate our very own teacher, Rise, for being recognized and awarded a STEM grant!

Rise Jongeling, a teacher at Axtell Park, was selected as one of just a handful of educators in the region to receive this honor—earning a $2,800 grant to bring even more hands-on, real-world science experiences into the classroom. (dakotanewsnow.com)
