Some conversations go beyond a single event “Future-Proofing Your Medical Career: Why Your Degree Needs AI” was one such impactful session. Organized by the Career Development Office at Islamabad Medical & Dental College, it brought together students, graduates, faculty, and leadership to explore how AI is transforming modern medicine.

We were privileged to learn from Dr. Usman Hadi, who highlighted that AI is no longer optional, but essential for diagnostics, research, and patient care. The discussion was further enriched by Yasir Khan Niazi, CEO GAK Healthcare international & Major General M. Aslam, Vice Chancellor City University Islamabad, who emphasized aligning medical education with emerging technologies.

The presence of Dr. Khurshid, Principal IMDC and Dr. Iram Iqbal, Director CDO, along with a strong turnout of students and faculty, made the session even more meaningful. An engaging Q&A reflected curiosity, critical thinking, and readiness for a future-ready healthcare landscape.

Here’s to embracing technology with responsibility and shaping tomorrow’s doctors with vision.
