Starting january 1st 2023, all visitors from Curacao, Aruba, St. Maarten, Saba and St. Eustatius do NOT have to pay to use the Bonaire National Marine PArk.
According to the law, it is now mandatory for all Bonairian divers and all visitors who want to use the protected area to pay. This will change! All visitors from the 6 islands can enter the Washington Slagbaai National PArk and go in to our sea FOR FREE starting 1st of january!

Almost forgot the "educational shorty" on Monday. This Stoplight parrotfish will bring some color in your life 😉🌈 Parrotfish are protected on Bonaire, you are not allowed to catch them. They keep the corals healthy by eating the algae off of them. A bit of the coral they ingest as well. Did you know that about 75% of the sand on the natural beaches is actualy parrotfish poo?!? 🤣👌😎
