Today, we were delighted to welcome our new English Teaching Assistant, James Johnson-Brown, to the American Corner!

James will be part of the American Corner team, and together we will work on a wide range of programs and activities for young people. In addition to helping participants learn and practice English, James will organize many other exciting and engaging activities for children, teenagers, and students.

With James joining us for more than 10 months, we are looking forward to an exciting period filled with learning, creativity, new experiences, and great opportunities for young people.

Very soon, we will announce our upcoming events and activities. We invite all children, young people, and students to join us and become part of everything we have planned!

🌎 CAMP GLOBAL 2026 - WHERE YOUNG MINDS MEET, LEARN, AND LEAD

After five inspiring days, Camp Global 2026 has come to a successful close - but the ideas, connections, and inspiration created during these days are only the beginning.

Young people from Prishtina and Prizren, guided by Eden Davenport from Gulf Coast Diplomacy, spent five days exploring leadership, American innovation, problem-solving, technology, and new ways of creating positive change in their communities.

They were challenged to think differently.
To ask better questions.
To work together.
And, most importantly, to understand that leadership is not simply about having ideas - it is about turning ideas into solutions.

🤝 The final day brought the young participants from the two cities together. They shared their experiences, exchanged perspectives, and worked side by side to develop and present their ideas.

But beyond the presentations, what mattered most was seeing young people from different communities connect, collaborate, and realize how much they can achieve when they work together.

🚀 Camp Global 2026 was more than a camp. It was an investment in the next generation of leaders.

A huge thank you to Gulf Coast Diplomacy, American Corner Pristina, Eden Davenport, and everyone who contributed to making Camp Global 2026 a meaningful and unforgettable experience.

Day 2 of Camp Global 2026

Another inspiring day of learning, collaboration, and new ideas! 🌎

Today, our young participants explored:
🎯 SMART Goals - turning ambitions into clear and achievable plans
💡 America Innovates: Technology, Innovation & Digital Solutions - discovering how technology, AI, and cybersecurity can create solutions for real-world challenges
🤝 Professional Communication - building confidence in interviews, networking, and professional interactions

Tomorrow in Pristina, we reach the final day of Camp Global 2026, together with American Corner Pristina. Young people from Prizren and Pristina will come together to present their projects, share their ideas, and showcase the solutions they have developed throughout the camp.

The future belongs to those who learn, innovate, collaborate, and lead. 🚀

Today, we proudly kicked off Camp Global 2026 with an inspiring and energetic opening!

We were honored to welcome Mayor of Prizren, Shaqir Totaj, who joined us for a special opening speech and shared valuable experiences from his studies in the United States, his leadership within the Tax Administration of Kosovo, and his journey as the Mayor of Prizren. His message of leadership, experience, and commitment was a powerful way to begin the Camp.

Camp Global is organized in cooperation with American Corner Pristina and Gulf Coast Diplomacy, a U.S.-based NGO, represented this year by Eden Davenport.

This is more than a camp. It is a space where young people connect, learn, lead, innovate, and turn ideas into action. 🌎

Camp Global 2026 is coming to Kosovo!

As part of Freedom 250, celebrating the 250th anniversary of American independence, we are excited to welcome high school students to Camp Global 2026 at American Corner Prizren! 🇺🇸

Ready to grow your leadership skills, explore innovation, strengthen your communication and teamwork, and connect with other young leaders?

Join us for three days of interactive sessions, hands-on activities, workshops, networking, and the exciting “America Innovates” showcase!

🗓 Dates: August 26 & 27, 2026 / August 28 in Pristina
📍Location: American Corner Prizren
⏰Time: 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM / August 28: 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM (in Pristina)
🍽 Lunch: Provided for all participants.
🎖 Certificates: Awarded to participants who attend all sessions and actively engage in all the program’s activities
