Precede Kosova

Precede Kosova Partnership for Reconciliation through Early Childhood Education and Development in Europe can dramatically impact mental and emotional development.

Cutting edge research and theory in a variety of fields informs the PRECEDE strategy. Through scientific research we know now that early childhood intervention can have dramatic results in (1) brain development, and that (2) many forms of violence (physical, emotional, inattention, discrimination, loss, etc.) (3) Early childhood education has been demonstrated conclusively to be a profoundly good social investment. Further, social sciences theory and practice in (4) field building, and (5) action research provide workable tools for championing social change. All of the partner countries have either suffered violent conflict during the last 25 years, or at least profound social dislocation. Though children have unique capacities for resilience, they are also vulnerable, including to the wounds of their parents. Poor investment in early childhood is among society’s most important short-comings, and the best opportunities for investment, and particularly that bringing methodology and activities of diversity, inclusion and acceptance into early childhood work contributes to healthier, happier children with increased likelihood of enjoying a good and productive life. PRECEDE aims, as anticipated in the EU strategy for Framework Partnership Agreements, at bringing stakeholders together, mapping their capacities, and providing a means towards identifying gaps and strengthening the field. “Field building is a critical strategy for social change,” where a field is defined as “a community of organizations and individuals working together towards a common goal, and using a set of common approaches towards achieving that goal.”[1] In identifying strengths, interests, opportunities – partners can more effectively design, advocate, and/or implement the needed programs. Action research leverages learning. It means that the community of organizations and individuals is involved directly in identifying and solving problems: testing, refining, reworking towards ever more satisfactory outcomes. The particular outcomes will vary within each partner country. They will share in common improving early childhood education and development, including development and implementation of tools that bring to children and the people who care for them greater tolerance, respect for diversity, social inclusion, and non-harmful communication and behavior. With a four-year time-line, PRECEDE will develop network sustainability that will live beyond the project.

Në Ditën Ndërkombëtare të Mësuesit u publikua Doracaku me praktika të mira në fushën e fëmijërisë së hershme.

Ky doracak me praktika të mira është rezultat i punës së edukatoreve nga institucionet parashkollore në Kosovë dhe Shqipëri.
Realizimi i këtij botimi është përkrahur nga International Step by Step Association- ISSA përmes iniciativës ndër-rajonale “Aktivitete të të nxënit mes kolegëve” implementuar nga Qendra Sociale-Edukative SOS Kopshti në Prishtinë, Qendra për Arsim të Kosovës- KEC, Balkan Sunflowers Kosova si dhe Qendra Hap pas Hapi, Shqipëri.
Përmes këtij bashkëpunimi 10 institucione parashkollore nga Kosova dhe 4 nga Shqipëria kanë qenë pjesë e aktiviteteve që kanë pasur për qëllim mbledhjen e praktikave të mira që rezultojnë nga projektet për kompetencat e edukatoreve si dhe dokumentimin e tyre në doracak.
Doracaku ofron praktika dhe përvoja të mira nga edukatoret të cilat janë bazuar në kompetencat e edukatoreve në Instrumentin për Vlerësimin e Praktikave Cilësore në Shërbimet e Fëmijërisë së Hershme për Fëmijët 3 deri 6 vjeç.
Praktikat e mira të ofruar në këtë doracak janë shkruar me përkushtim dhe përgjegjësi nga edukatoret dhe për këtë arsye është ruajtur origjinaliteti i praktikave të marra sipas rrëfimit të edukatoreve dhe nuk është ndërhyrë në mënyrën e interpretimit.

Fëmijët me aftësi ndryshe nuk janë diçka e pazakontë. Ata vetëm duan të jenë si të tjerët, të jenë të PRANUAR. A mundem të kërkoj diçka? A është dikush gati të kopjojë këtë status, në nderim të të gjithë fëmijëve, të cilët janë unikë në mënyrën e vet? Le të shohim kush ka një zemër të mirë... Unë e di se cilët nga miqtë e mi kanë për ta bërë këtë, prandaj mos e shpërndani, por kopjojeni në murin tuaj!
