Monday 01st June 2026 - Three Courses Running in Parallel

Today the 01st June 2026, 'Busy Times' with 3 courses running in parallel, (1) our International IMAS EOD Level 3 course began alongside (2) a client bespoke 12-week course and (3) a further client bespoke course entered its 3rd of 5-weeks.

International IMAS EOD Level 2 – Graduation Day

Today, the 29th of May 2026, another international class successfully completed the IMAS EOD Level 2 course at MAT Kosovo EOD & ERW Training Establishment following four intensive weeks of both theoretical and practical training.

From day one, this diverse group demonstrated a strong willingness to learn, develop their knowledge, and challenge themselves throughout every phase of the course. Their professionalism, determination, and teamwork were evident throughout the programme, and we are proud to say that every student successfully achieved their IMAS EOD Level 2 certification.

Over the course of the past four weeks, the students progressed through a demanding syllabus, beginning with core classroom instruction before moving into practical exercises and live training scenarios designed to build confidence, competence, and operational capability. As always, one of the major highlights of the course was the students’ first live range day - an experience that remains a defining moment for many attending training at MAT Kosovo.

Beyond the technical training itself, the course also provided an opportunity for students from different countries and professional backgrounds to learn from one another, exchange experiences, and build lasting professional relationships. During their time with us, the students also had the chance to experience the local culture and enjoy the breathtaking scenery that springtime in Peja has to offer.

IMAS EOD Level 1&2 Live Range, Tuesday, 26th May 2026

A stand out memory of any of our IMAS EOD CMD courses is the live range day, where our clients and students (in most cases) have their first experience of dealing with live fuzed single item munitions, by way of High Order Techniques.

Tuesday, the 26th May was one such day, where our International students spent the day preparing and setting up for their IMAS EOD L1&2 Demolitions assessments.

It was a great day with success all round, and the sun was shining, absolutely perfect for enjoyment all round. Out thanks go to our exclusive partner Poliex in Montenegro for the flawless support, as usual.

Spring at the MAT Kosovo EOD & ERW Training Establishment - Spring has Sprung!!

Our Managing Director, Ben, loves flowers and the positive, bright vibe they bring to the Training Wing of the Facility.

Every May, Aferdita, our Facilities Manager, carries out a full Spring Clean of the facility, along with what Ben calls 'the MK TC's Haircut'!

Every Year, without fail - even when the school is busy, as it is at present with the last week of our International IMAS EOD L1&2 running in parallel with a client's bespoke IMAS IEDD L1&2 course. The pressure is on, with a third client bespoke course starting on Monday, the 1st of June, alongside our International IMAS EOD L3 course.

Our Client's Training Experience is very important to us. We also take pride in our facility and surroundings - as with training delivery and its support, we always go the extra 'Green' Mile!

PCM's MAT Kosovo to Partner with REAMDA Ltd of Ireland - PCM's MAT Kosovo EOD & ERW Training Establishment are delighted to announce we will soon have a REAMDA Hobo in our equipment inventory.

REAMDA of County Kerry, Ireland, are one of the world's leading designers and manufacturer of robotic mobile platforms.

REAMDA's Managing Director Padraig O'Conner and PCM's Managing Director Ben Remfrey met at the ISNR Exhibition in Abu Dhabi earlier this week, both attending in support of our regional agent Secure Life Group on their stand.

As seen in the picture, MAT Kosovo's EOD/IEDD/C-UAS Subject Matter Expert, Oleg Pogul, shakes hands with Padraig O'Connor, alongside the latest version of REAMDA's 'Reacher' platform.

Ben Remfrey stated: "We are always adding the very best equipment to our training establishments inventory. For some time, we have wanted a larger heavier and more robust ROV platform for our clients to use alongside our smaller recce ROV's like our Talon MK4's. The reconditioned REAMDA Hobo systems kindly supplied by Padraig and his team will add significantly to our capability and our clients training experience, using one of the world's very best tried and tested systems, which will include dearmers and disruptors supplied along with the platform."

International IMAS EOD Level 1&2 Course - End of Week Two

Our multi national IMAS EOD Level 1&2 students have reached the half way mark in their four week course. Able to spend the second week on the grounds and in the conduct of practical drills, after week ones intensive theoretical phase.

Week three will test and challenge our group as they further enhance their skills, work as a team and conduct dry practice and then live high order demolitions on single items of live fuzed ordnance at the Poliex range in Montenegro.

A very well done to all on the conclusion of week two, here is to the next two weeks toward the eventual goal of qualifying as IMAS EOD L2 operators.

Our pay per seat IMAS EOD L1&2 course is now well into its second of four weeks, and our group of International students have started to gel as a group.

Spring in Peja is a great time of year to be attending our courses, the weather is great and the training environment makes the learning experience enjoyable while challenging.
