IBCM College had a productive meeting this week-VirtuEU Project

IBCM VirtuEU Project Coordinator Prof. Asst Dr Vjosë Latifi discussed with VirtuEU colleagues the participation at the ICIEMC 2024 conference, where the VirtuEU partners will present their work.
The Consortium also discussed a goal of having 200 students complete the 11 courses offered by our 10 partners.
One of our key decisions was to have our next meeting on Tuesday, 02 July 2024, at 11 AM.
The University of Aveiro plans to offer incentives to local students, including financed trips to Brussels and diplomas of excellence!

We are excited to announce that Virtual Exchanges will start in full steam in mid-September 2024, with the potential for multiple circles per semester. Each institution will specialise in its course, with the possibility of combining courses for improved efficiency.

ERASMUS+ incoming mobilities to IBCM have continued!

During the week of 10th – 14th June, IBCM hosted Mr. Marin Gudelj, an IT expert from the University Department of Professional Studies at the University of Split (Croatia).

This mobility was part of an Inter-Institutional agreement signed between IBCM and University of Split for the staff and student exchanges under the umbrella of E+ KA1. Two institutions have realized staff and student exchanges already while new opportunities for expanding successful collaboration have been additionally explored during exchange visits.

During his stay, Mr. Gudelj had a chance to meet IBCM management and visit modern facilities, IR office, smart labs, and to learn more about platforms and equipment installed to support distance learning and to enhance the quality of teaching process at IBCM. Fruitful discussion, and exchange of ideas and experiences with IBCM professors and staff engaged in IT Department also took place. In addition, incoming guests participated in the project presentation and dynamic students discussion during the IT class.

IBCM already nominated students to spend the next semester at Split University as a part of E+ student mobility scheme and we are looking forward to welcoming colleagues, and students from Split University, and to expand the collaboration in various areas with such a reputable partner in the near future.

ROAMING consortium members have gathered at the Mediterranean University of Podgorica for the 5th training and study visit. The two-day training has been organized on the 13th and 14th of June being focused on the training of IRO Heads and academic staff on the mobility for internships/apprenticeships, and training of the students on the E+ Buddy system, its institutionalization and implementation.
Experienced trainers from The University of Western Macedonia (Greece) and from The International University of Struga (North Macedonia) have shared their expertise and best practices with ROAMING partners in the area of international affairs, student and staff mobility.

General Management meeting was also conducted and participants were involved in vibrant case study analyses and group discussions as a part of the training sessions organized in Podgorica. IBCM team was actively engaged in all presentations and group work discussion; participants also had the chance to find out more about Erasmus Student Network and how ESN empowers and help students across Europe.
ROAMING projects is directed on strengthening international staff and mobility offices in WB and IBCM is thankful to the coordinator and project partners for the opportunity to further strengthen its international office and build various capacities of staff involved.

This week marked a significant milestone in the progress of the Erasmus+ PROBLEMS project. The Public International Business College Mitrovica (IBC-M) joined esteemed colleagues at the University of Zenica (UNZE) in Zenica for a four-day training, brainstorming, and project advancement session.

The sessions aimed to address and work on:
