Grades 6–12 Family Tips: Media Balance & Well-Being

Cyber citizenship : There is a growing concern about what our children are watching online and the amount of time they spend in front of screens . I am not suggesting it is all bad but as parents we need to be closely monitoring what our children ( of all ages) have access to online, We will be introducing a cyber citizenship curriculum from " Common Sense education":: in term 3 that I am trialing with several classes at the moment. This is giving a very clear picture of what our students are actively participating in online and offline, Please feel free to access the common sense website to get further information.
There are many helpful tips and activities for families that will benefit the entire family.

i will post an example below ( you may need to copy and paste the link.

Most of our staff are locally trained but we have a few overseas trained teachers also. The principal, Lisa Lameta is originally from New Zealand but has been a long time resident in Samoa.
We use the local curriculum with the addition of overseas maths . All curriculum areas (apart from Samoan language lessons) are taught in English.
We are a private school. Our fees for non-Peace Chapel Christian Fellowship members are $600WST per term (4 terms) and for PCCF members $450WST per term.
Our school day starts at 8:30am and finishes at 1:45pm Mon-Fri.

Peace Chapel Christian School is a great school that not only focuses on teaching students academically but also spiritually. We start each day with 30 minutes of Christian devotions and teach the children memory verses from the bible each week.
