Tank yu Tumas Volunteer Build - Break Free Expeditions for blessing TCA with a new classroom build! What a team; not only doing this in a shorter timeframe (due to flight delays), but also less volunteers than expected. We look forward to using this building for many years to come, as it is used to educate the next generation of leaders of this amazing nation of Vanuatu! 🇻🇺

Thursday August 15th (tomorrow) is Assumption Day in Vanuatu and is a PUBLIC HOLIDAY.

The school will be closed (no classes) and will reopen again on Friday, August 16th.

Students are expected to attend class on Friday.

Yesterday we said TANK YU TUMAS to our Year 7 teacher, Ms Jane, who will be going on Maternity leave next week. Mr Ala, who has been with us for the past 3 weeks will be taking over leading the Year 7 class from next Monday. We pray for the safe arrival of Ms Jane's new baby and look forward to welcoming her back towards the end of Term 4 later this year.

We celebrated Children’s Day this week & we were blessed to have friends of the school donate icecream to bless our TCA students 😊🍦

Next Tuesday (July 30th) is Independence Day in Vanuatu 🇻🇺
It is a public holiday and TCA is closed.

TCA WILL be OPEN next Monday, July 29th for normal classes and also on Wednesday, July 31st.

Tuesday July 30th is the ONLY day TCA is closed.

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

Today is Friday of the first week of term 3 and school fees for this term were due today. While some parents have paid all or part of term 3, there are still 35 students with outstanding fees from term 2. Next week, starting from Thursday 25 July, all students with outstanding fees from previous terms will be suspended from class until school fee payments are up to date. This gives you Monday and Tuesday to come to the office to make any payments necessary. Wednesday is Children’s Day, therefore suspensions will be in effect from Thursday on.

Today marks the start of Week 9 of Term 2 at TCA. Next week will be our last week for the term.

Unfortuantely, there are still some outstanding school fees for Term 2.

If you have outstanding school fees by the end of term, your child will be unable to receive their school report.

Our wonderful DTS team will still be providing lunch for our TCA students for all of this week.

A wonderful week of training for some of the mumas from the school at the Sewing Club. This week they learnt to sew island dresses and island shirts. Nicewan! 😉👍

Thanks to the staff and students from St Philip's Christian College - Port Stephens 🇦🇺 and their hosting staff from Redlands College (Vanuatu staff 🇻🇺) for blessing our almost-completed building with a second coat of paint! 🙌🏻👍

The building is about 80% complete… lighting, toilets, doors and windows and it will be done 😊

Once fully paid, your child will be able to re-enroll for 2024.

2024 TCA School Enrollments / Re-Enrollments will be open from Monday, October 30th.

If you are looking to enroll your child at TCA, please come and see us at the school office.

Current TCA students must have all current school fees paid before they can re-enroll.

Cyclone Lola has been downgraded and is now almost all but gone. TCA will be OPEN for normal classes on Monday, October 30th.

Please keep those in the northern islands of Vanuatu in your prayers, as they have been hit hard by the cyclone.

NEW Update - The Vanuatu Meteorology Department have Cyclone Lola on Red Alert for SHEFA province.

School will be closed again tomorrow (Thursday October 26th)

UPDATE - Vanuatu Meteorological Department have issued Shefa Province a “Yellow Warning” for Cyclone Lola.

Based on this update, we have decided to close the school 11.30am.

There is some unplesant weather on the way. We wanted to give everyone notice that we might close the school early tomorrow, depending on how things develop. We also want to give parents the choice if they send their child to school tomorrow or not. We will most likely make a decision and post within an hour of when school will close, if that happens.
