Call for Expressions of Interest: Review of the VIT HR System and HR Manual
The Vanuatu Institute of Technology (VIT), is seeking expressions of interest from qualified consultants for the comprehensive review of our HR System and HR Manual. This initiative aims to ensure alignment with VIT's strategic plan, compliance with our quality management system, and adherence to relevant laws and regulations.
The review will encompass various HR processes including recruitment, performance management, payroll, and more, with a focus on improving policy clarity and user-friendliness. Additionally, the project includes the development of procedures, guidelines, and tools for implementing, recording, and reporting these processes.

DIPLOMA OF ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING (ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT AND SYSTEMS)
The Vanuatu Institute of Technology is thrilled to invite individuals to express their expression of interest (EOI) in enrolling in the first engineering diploma to be developed and offered in Vanuatu, the Diploma of Electrical Engineering (Electrical Equipment and Systems).
Planned to commence in March next year, the Diploma of Electrical Engineering (Electrical Equipment and Systems) has the following graduate outcomes:
The purpose of this qualification is to train individuals in their electrical, business and overall leadership knowledge and skills and gain a qualification at an advanced trade (Level 5) of the Vanuatu Qualifications Framework. Students are taught about the application of electromagnetism, electronics, and electricity and also gain competencies in the development, selection, commissioning, maintaining and diagnosing of faults/malfunctions on advanced electrical equipment and systems
This is a 2-year full time program but is also designed to allow organisations to enroll their employees who meet minimum entry requirements as apprentice learners in a blend of online and face to face course delivery to ensure minimum time off work.
You can lodge your EOI with us if you have successfully completed Year 13 with a B grade or 16/20 marks in English or French, Mathematics and any science subjects (chemistry or physics) related to the electrical field. However, if you have passed your year 12 or year 13 or if you did not do science in school, do not despair as we have a foundation program to help you out. If you already have a Certificate 4 in Electrical Engineering from a recognised PSET institute, you may also lodge an EOI.
How to lodge your EOI:
• Fill out an application for enrollment form.
• Submit the following documents:
o Certified copy of all relevant qualifications/ certificates/ transcripts.
o Certified copy of your birth certificate.
o 1 recent passport photo.

Tuition: 750,000 Vatu over 2 Years
Language of instruction: This is a bi-lingual program
Financial assistance is available currently through VNPF for those meeting VNPF requirements (VNPF conducts their own screening for eligible learners)
