The American Circus Arts Program

The American Circus Arts Program ACAP Vung Tau is designed for kids and teens who are interested the art of circus! Classes include juggling, hula hooping, acrobatics, theater and more!

ACAP encourages kids and teens to gain self-confidence, build team-work/leadership skills and become creatively and physically active through the field of circus arts. Our classes are taught in both English and Vietnamese. They are designed and instructed by Maya Norman (USA) and Vietnamese instructors. Subjects include:

-acrobatics
-juggling
-hula hooping
-theatre
-clowning
-character development

and more! ACAP works together with schools to design a curriculum which blends circus arts with other educational fields. The ACAP curriculum can be tailored to suit any type of school, subject or participant. ACAP also offers weekly workshops which are open to the general public. Right now we are just creating a student base so that we can open our classes. Hopefully we can start the first class next Saturday! We will also get a logo up as soon as we can.

Hi, everyone! Sorry about the confusion with the other page entitled "Vung Tau Circus Club". We have since deleted that page and changed the name of the group to The American Circus Arts Program (ACAP Vung Tau). I appreciate your patience and support as this program continues to grow!

Thanks to everyone for your support! I am just starting out this project and it seems to be successful so far!

Once we have enough students interested in joining the weekly workshops, I will announce the details of location and times.

As of now, the first month of workshops will take place at Front Beach Park, Vung Tau on Saturdays from 2-4 pm.

After the first month, we will move to Singapore International School in Vung Tau and the schedule may change.

We will continue to do at least once a month at Front Beach Park to get newcomers involved.
