1. Read a lot.
You can’t get better at writing if you don’t like to read. Think of it this way: your writing is largely a reflection of your reading. If you are an avid reader, then you will be able to express your ideas in a variety of ways. If you only read textbooks, your writing will be informative and rather dry.
It should come as no surprise, then, that many instructors think that reading is the most important activity that will improve your writing. It helps you on a number of different levels.
a) Reading improves your active vocabulary. (That is, not only your ability to recognize words, but to also use them.)
b) Reading deepens your comprehension of the subjects you write about.
c) It makes you aware of different writing styles, which you can then adapt.
2. Skip the generic words.
Most writing instructors advise against using words like “thing”, “good”, “really”, and “very” in your writing, as they make it sound rather bland. Every time you have the urge to use these, try to replace them with a better-sounding equivalent. For example, instead of saying “Her performance was very interesting”, you can say “Her performance was riveting.”
3. Improve your grammar.
Nowhere is bad grammar as evident as it is in writing. While in speaking I encourage my students not to get hung up on grammar, in writing I do the opposite. Every time you have doubts about a certain sentence structure you’ve used, please consult your grammar books in order to make sure it’s correct.
This is why it is useful to have someone else go over your writing if you have the chance. An extra pair of eyes to proofread and check for grammatical errors will never hurt.
4. Use a thesaurus.
You should have the thesaurus open in your browser or a hard copy of it on your desk every time you embark on a writing task. Take some time to look up synonyms to words that you overuse in your writing. It will add some color to your work as well as improve your own vocabulary.
5. Practice with native speakers
Practicing your English is key to improving all your skills, including your writing. If you are keen on improving your writing skills, allocate time each day to this very task.

I cannot tell your level of language from this question alone, so I will share some general guidelines for someone who is trying to improve their English.
1. Surround yourself with everything English
The sooner you get into an “English mode”, the easier it will get for you to improve your language skills. This includes everything from only listening to English songs in your car, watching YouTube videos in English, playing English word games, to changing the language to English on all your devices.
2. Keep a notebook and a dictionary handy
When you are new to a language, you will often find that you are constantly bumping against a new unknown word. Have a notebook handy to write that word down for future notes and use a dictionary or a dictionary app on your phone to look up the meaning of that word if not immediately, then as soon as possible.
3. Use flashcards and post-it notes
Flashcards are great when you are trying to learn and test yourself on the newly-acquired vocabulary. You can use them not only for word definitions, but also phrases and sentences that will help you better remember a word.
Use post-it notes to label everything around your house. Soon you will find that you know the names of all of the household items that surround you. That is no small feat.
4. Read
Yes, good old-fashioned reading is one of the best tools to help you improve your English. No matter what your level is at the moment, you can always find something to read. If you are a beginner, you can start by reading children’s books and poems. If you are intermediate, you can find short articles on topics of interest, adapted books, etc.
5. Attend English speaking clubs
Ask around to find out what English courses are offered in your area. You will find that many of those courses offer free speaking sessions. Take advantage of that opportunity to practice your language skills.
6. Practice with a native speaker
I cannot stress enough the importance of practice when it comes to improving your language skills. You don’t have to stress out and do it on your own. There is an amazing online source called English E that will help you improve your English with the help of native speakers, who will give you one-on-one lessons any time of the day that is convenient for you, on any day of the week!!!
