TRAINING WORKSHOP | From Prompt to Practice: Designing Engaging Post-Reading Activities with AI
🚀 SU26 – Offline Session
🍀 The Training Workshop is back offline. This week’s session will focus on three key areas: effective prompting, activity design, and classroom adaptation. Participants will learn how to write clear prompts that guide AI toward producing activities aligned with specific learning objectives, language levels, and reading texts. They will also explore different post-reading formats, such as discussion tasks, role-plays, opinion activities, creative responses, information-gap tasks, and vocabulary extension activities.
🍀 Through hands-on practice, participants will move from prompt to practice by creating and refining their own post-reading activities with AI. By the end of the workshop, teachers will have a practical framework for using AI as a teaching assistant - not a replacement for teacher judgment - and a collection of adaptable activity ideas that can turn the final stage of a reading lesson into an opportunity for communication, critical thinking, and active learning.
