IS AFFILIATED WITH THREE ISI JOURNALS
Abstracts submitted to Young Chemists Conference 2021 may be considered for submission in three ISI journals we are affiliated with. One of our committee members, Dr. Duc Pham, is the lead guest editor for Frontiers in Chemistry (Q1, IF 5.221), Adsorption in Science and Technology (Q1, IF 4.232), and Journal of Analytical Methods in Chemistry (Q2, IF 2.192).
Frontiers in Chemistry (https://www.frontiersin.org/journals/chemistry) is a multidisciplinary open-access journal dedicated to publishing rigorously peer-reviewed research across the chemical sciences. The specific sub-disciplines include analytical, inorganic, organic, and physical chemistry, as well as collaborative research across those specialty areas. The Editorial Board is made up of outstanding international researchers with Professor Steve Suib at the University of Connecticut as the Field Chief Editor.
The journal has an impact factor of 5.221 (Q1), and is indexed in PubMed Central (PMC), Scopus, Web of Science Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE), Google Scholar, DOAJ, CrossRef, Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS), CLOCKSS. This journal is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Adsorption Science & Technology (https://www.hindawi.com/journals/ast/) is devoted to the studies of adsorption and desorption phenomena and publishes original research papers and critical review articles, with occasional special issues relating to particular topics and symposia. Recent issues have included studies of the pore structure and surface chemistry of active carbons, discussions of the application of the Dubinin-Radushkevich equation, the effect of cation-exchange on the adsorption properties of zeolites, studies of the isosteric and differential heats of gas adsorption on microporous active carbons, and investigations of high-area manganese oxides by nitrogen adsorption. The Editor is Professor Erich A. Muller from the Department of Chemical Engineering at Imperial College of London.
The journal has an impact factor of 4.232 (Q1), and is indexed in SCOPUS; Chemistry Citation Index; Compendex, Web of Science (ISI). This journal is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Journal of Analytical Methods in Chemistry (https://www.hindawi.com/journals/jamc/) is an open-access journal that publishes methods and instrumentation for chemical analysis, as well as their applications to real-world problems. Articles may be either practical or theoretical. Subject areas include Separation, Spectroscopy, Mass spectrometry, Chromatography, Analytical Sample Preparation, Electrochemical analysis, Hyphenated techniques, and Data processing. The journal publishes original research as well as review articles that examine the state of the art, identify emerging trends, and suggest future directions for developing fields. The Editor-in-Chief is Professor Verónica Pino at the Department of Chemistry of the University of La Laguna, Spain.
The journal has an impact factor of 2.192 (Q2), and is widely indexed.

The first Young Chemists Conference 2021 will be co-organized by the Rencontre du Vietnam, the International Centre of Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE), and the Vietnamese Chemical Association (VCA). Inspired by the great success of the Vietnam Young Biologist Conference, we aim to create a similar platform for young chemists and chemical engineers in Vietnam and the nearby region to meet, present their works, share ideas, and spark collaboration.
- Abstract Submission Deadline: June 20, 2021

YCC empowers professionals at any levels in chemical sciences and engineering (including but not limited to undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctoral researchers). Our program will feature technical seminars from well-established group leaders and excellent researchers in earlier stages of career. YCC also provides a place to discuss career perspectives, industry experience, tips in scholarship or job hunting, etc.
As we aspire to an international standard, all official discussion and communication will be in English. Our next announcements will be posted on Vietnamese Chemical Association, Young Chemists Conference, and www.yccvietnam.org.
