Dear colleagues,
On behalf of the organizing committee, I would like to thank you for your strong support of the 1st Young Chemists Conference.
I am pleased to share with you that our event receives great attention from young researchers, graduate, and undergraduate students working in Vietnam and overseas. We received 140 Abstracts of which 30 Abstracts were selected for Oral talks and 70 for Poster presentations. We also received generous sponsorship from DKSH, SISC, Metrohm, Newtech, Merck, etc.
However, with the current dire situation of Covid-19 in Vietnam, we understand that this is a really hard time for many of us to discuss science, even on a virtual platform. Therefore, together with ICISE, we had to make the difficult decision to postpone the Conference to December 16-19, 2021.
We profusely apologize for this short notice change of plan. We hope you understand that this comes from our kind aspiration to have an in-person meeting, which we think is in everyone’s preference. We hope that the “New Normal '' will be established this December so that we can enjoy a meeting in ICISE where we can meet up, share ideas, create collaboration, and network.
We will get back to you by November 20, 2021, with confirmation and more detailed information, including the new deadline for presentation submission.
Meantime, updated information will be available on the conference website: https://www.yccvietnam.org/. Please note that the required format for Poster presentation is the same with either on-site or online format.
Please do not hesitate to send us questions to [email protected]. Thank you very much again for your immense support and understanding.
Sincerely yours,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee,
Tran Dinh Phong
