Son My Massacre Relic (My Lai Massacre)
My Lai Massacre was carried out at the dawn of 16 March 1968 by a US Army taskforce unit, destroying houses and other properties and killing 504 civilians, most of them were women and children. This was also an evidence f
or the most brutal homocide (serial killing) committed by the US Army in the Vietnam War. The Son My Massacre Relic is composed of 8 points lying in 2 hamlets of Tu Cung and Co Luy, Tinh Khe Commune, Son Tinh District, about 12 km northeast of Quang Ngai downtown. This is classified by Ministry of Culture and Information as a relic of special importance.

Truong Dinh was a national hero in the resistant war against the French during the 1960s. His anti-French constribution was recognized by the history and praised by the people. He was born in 1820 in Tu Cung Village, Binh Son District, now called Tinh Khe Commune, Son Tinh District, Quang Ngai Province. In honour of Truong Dinh, anti-French the Marshal, Quang Ngai rebuilt the Temple in his homeland of Tinh Khe Commune, Son Tinh District. The Temple covers an area of about 20,000 m2, composed of the Main Temple, the showroom, guest house, memorial, service practicing ground, and the memory gardens.
