Hanoi Pedagogical University 2 (HPU2) was established in 1967 and moved to Xuan Hoa in 1975. After nearly half a century of development and growth, HPU2 has become one of the best pedagogical universities in Vietnam. It contributes to the development of education around the country, especially in the provinces of Central North Vietnam. In recent years, along with developing higher education programs, HPU2 has opened several new types of training programs to become a multidisciplinary university. HPU2 trains students to meet the human resources needs required for economic and social development on both a local and a national scale.
