🍜COOKING CLUB (Ages 5-7)

✨Schedule: Thursday @ 4:00-4:50 pm
✨Start Date: October 12, 2023
✨Term Dates: October 12, 19, 26, November 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, December 7, 14, January 11, 18, 25 (14 sessions)
✨Teacher: Ms. Khanh Pham (KCS Teacher)

✨Program: In this 14-week course, students will learn fundamental cooking skills and create tasty meals and treats to share with family and friends. Students will learn how to bake, roast, toast, stir fry, sautee, boil, and steam to prepare a variety of side dishes, snacks, main entrees, and desserts.
Students will also learn about kitchen safety and the right way to handle kitchen utensils and equipment. During this course, we will prepare a variety of savory and sweet dishes to give our junior chefs an opportunity to use different ingredients, equipment, and techniques. At the end of each class, we will enjoy eating the food we made!

⚙️KINDER ROBOTICS (for ages 4-6)

✨Program: Children will begin to explore the world of robotics as they build simple models that teach the fundamentals of robotic design. Whether learning about sensors while building drills and magic wands, or discovering ways that gears and pulleys create movement while building helicopters and robotic dogs, your child is sure to have a great time!

✨Program: Developing/improving logical thinking, concentration, decision-making, problem-solving and logical thinking through learning and playing chess. Through instructions, games, and practice, students will learn basic strategies so they can play chess with friends and have fun.
