The sixth season of RMIT Accessibility Design Competition (ADC) returns as a 3-day hackathon, inviting university students and early-career professionals nationwide to team up and tackle real workplace barriers affecting people with disabilities.

The hackathon takes place over 3 days, during which you will:

𝟭. 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗼𝗻 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹-𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲: Receive a brief, identify key workplace barriers, develop and pitch a solution with your team.
𝟮. 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲, 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆: Explore universal design, learn AI tools (Replit, Lovable, Cursor), and apply design thinking to develop your solution.
𝟯. 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁: Test your ideas with end-user feedback, connect with and learn from mentors and industry experts.
𝟰. 𝗨𝗻𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀: Explore career-boosting opportunities with Katalon and P&G’s Dream Internship programme.

The paper submission deadline for the 2026 International Symposium on Sustainable Development (ISSD 2026) has been extended to 4 September 2026.

Researchers, academics, HDR candidates and early-career researchers are invited to submit their work under the theme “Transitions, Innovations, and Policies for Sustainable Development.”
