Over the past six weeks, our team has had the pleasure of delivering an Introduction to Business English course to the PetroVietnam Engineering team in District 7 — and the results have been fantastic.

The final task of the course required staff to bring together everything from the 12 sessions into a full team presentation. They incorporated reporting incidents, handling difficult questions, language for report writing, presentation skills, body language, confidence, and how to react when things go wrong (as they always do — and did). The team performed outstandingly. These are essential skills that help you stand out, contribute effectively, and operate confidently in business — especially in an increasingly global Vietnam.

Engagement throughout the course has been fantastic. The team consistently participated, asked thoughtful questions, completed tasks diligently, and brought a positive attitude to every lesson. This created a genuinely enjoyable learning environment and made our final class feel like a real milestone for everyone involved.

Most importantly, these skills are not only valuable for English development — they are critical tools for professional growth. The team now has a strong foundation that will support their performance and open new opportunities in their future careers.

All KLE courses are developed after close consultation and an on-site needs analysis. This ensures each programme is level-appropriate, relevant, and delivers maximum impact and value for both staff and management.

We now look forward to launching our new Footwear Manufacturing English Programme, a specialised course that integrates practical English development with technical footwear-manufacturing knowledge. Designed specifically for Vietnamese staff working with international brands and global partners, this course will help bridge communication gaps between technical teams, suppliers, and manufacturers.

Salary 650~800,000 VND per hour

Classes start December, 2025

🔹 Class Schedule:

• Monday Or Wednesday - after 5pm
• Saturday 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM or 13:00-15:00pm

➡ Total: 4 hours/week to start (more hours may follow)

🔹 Requirements:

• Native English speaker or international education background

• Bachelor’s degree + teaching certificate preferred

• Prior experience teaching SAT Reading/Writing/Grammar

• Strong classroom presence and lesson planning ability

• Must provide reference or proof of teaching background (e.g. past student scores, feedback, or performance evidence)

🔹 Salary:

• 650,000 VND/hour

• After 4 months, for Intensive SAT Prep (2-month program):

→ 800,000 VND/hour

Halfway Through Our Business English Course with PetroVietnam Engineering!

This course was designed around the real communication needs identified by the learners themselves — focusing on the key skills they felt were essential for success in an increasingly international industry.

Over 12 intensive sessions, we’re developing confidence and fluency in:
💬 Business etiquette and small talk — “breaking the ice” naturally
📝 Writing clear, professional reports
🗣️ Preparing for and performing effectively in meetings
🎤 Delivering confident and engaging presentations

Most importantly, the course helps participants build confidence to speak, share ideas, and contribute effectively in every professional situation.

We’re proud to deliver this programme in partnership with PVE, who are investing in upskilling their team’s English and communication skills to strengthen collaboration with international partners. The training is held in PVE’s excellent District 7 facilities — a perfect environment for professional growth.

Wrapping up a fantastic 5-day Wind Power English course with the PetroVietnam College team!

Over the past week, we’ve covered a huge range of topics — 20 topics over 30 hours of lessons - from the fundamentals of wind energy and turbine technology to components, project planning, feasibility assessments, and grid connection. The course finished with participants developing and presenting their own project proposals — and the results were genuinely impressive.

With such a highly qualified group (holding master’s degrees in linguistics and TESOL), we knew we had to bring our A-game. Our aim was to not only build knowledge and confidence in the technical side of wind energy, but also to equip these lecturers with the tools, materials, and activities they’ll need to deliver the same training to PetroVietnam staff in the future — as wind power becomes a key pillar of Vietnam’s energy development.

Spending the week with the ‘Wind Queens’ has been enlightening, educational, and — as always when teaching in Vietnam — very, very funny. Thanks for making it such an enjoyable week, for all the enthusiasm, and for keeping us fuelled with daily snacks!

It’s been great to spend time back in Vũng Tàu too — looking forward to the next course already. 🌬️

With the PetroVietnam team this week, delivering a 5-day English language course on Wind Energy as they prepare for expansion into this rapidly growing industry.

The course is being delivered to PetroVietnam’s own lecturers, providing them with the language, materials, and confidence to teach future courses to staff across the company.

We were also pleased to invite Mr. Cuong, who brings over 30 years of experience in the wind energy sector. His insights, real-world examples, and ability to field technical questions helped make this an even richer learning experience for everyone involved.

And with the offices overlooking the sea, it’s hard to imagine a better backdrop for discussing Vietnam’s renewable energy future! 🌊⚡️

Not every day goes so smoothly as a teacher, but a hug from one of your students on the last day…we’ll definitely take that.
Today was the last of our month of classes at PetroVietnam University in Vung Tau, teaching their new engineering graduates 🎓. These guys will be building the future for Vietnam! 🌉 🏗️
Many thanks to them and the staff at PVU for making it a memorable experience. It has been great to get back into the classrooms again.
