Our summer Computer Science STEM English class is almost full and will begin the second class this evening. There is a maximum of (6) students for STEM classes so make sure to message us if you or your child/student is interested!

This week's project is a version of "Brickout" a very popular game that requires simple but essential computer logic to complete. Fun Fact: Steve Wozniak, who founded Apple with Steve Jobs, wrote the classic game "Little Brickout" in just 30 minutes back in the late 1970s!

We finished the first English & Computer Science for Students class using Scratch to make the "Ghost Jumper" game. The class has just started and enrollment is still open (Tuesday and Fridays 6:00pm-7:20pm).

Don't be bored with the kids sitting home this summer during the COVID lockdown. Learn online and have fun while doing it! Maximum of six students~ message us here for more information!

In addition to our regular General English and IELTS classes, English Think Tank is now offering Computer Science English for Students using the Scratch visual scripting language which is popular with STEM classes in the USA (https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/editor/?tutorial=getStarted). Students will learn key vocabulary about computers and STEM topics while using Scratch to create interesting projects that help build their logical thinking skills.

We are also offering our Summer 3D Graphic Design class again! Open to learners of all ages, it uses the free and open source Blender 2.9 software (blender.org). Students will learn how to create 3D models and characters for animation, games, and product/architecture visualization. We will also focus on key English terms for Graphic Designers. A great class for anyone interested in design and English!

Both classes are taught by Mr. Spencer who is a lecturer at HCM University of Natural Science and Ton Duc Thang University.
